Falling Damage
The fear of falling should be real; it isn't. Characters often view falls as an inconvenience or a way to rapidly overcome a cliff or pit.

If the character's HP drop to 0 because of the fall, the character is Dying. If a character's HP are not 0 after the fall but they fail the CON save, their HP are set to 0 and they are Dying.
Note that in the Real World (whatever that is), the median height at which falls are deadly is 48 feet. Falls are 'always lethal' at 85 feet.
